Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology Float Pool RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring an active MA RN license and 2+ years of oncology experience.

Details

  • Float pool position covering multiple oncology, hematology, BMT, palliative care, and research oncology units across various hospital towers
  • Patient population includes medical oncology, BMT, and palliative care cases
  • Uses Epic for charting
  • 3x12 shift schedule with a mix of straight night and rotating day/night positions available
  • Floating required across multiple oncology-related units within the hospital system

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required, no conditional or pending licenses accepted
  • BLS certification required (AHA preferred; Red Cross accepted at most locations, though some locations accept AHA only)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience required
  • Primary source license verification required within 30 days of start date
  • Both NURSYS and Board of Nursing verification required for nursing license

Additional Information

  • Provide direct patient care across a variety of oncology-focused units including medical oncology, BMT, research oncology, and palliative care
  • Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
  • Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are accepted at a reduced rate
  • Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
  • No validated parking available at Boston locations; public transportation or paid public parking required
