Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a LTAC Oncology unit requiring an active MA RN license and BLS certification for a 13-week night shift assignment.

Details

• LTAC Oncology unit caring for patients undergoing chemotherapy and diagnosis management
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; conditional or pending licenses not accepted
• BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
• Primary source verification of license required within 30 days of start and upon renewal
• Both NURSYS and BON verification required for nursing license

Additional Information

• Administer medications, monitor patient reactions, and record vital signs and clinical changes
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Modify treatment plans based on patient response and condition
• Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates accepted if residing within 60 miles of the facility, at a reduced rate
