Join a supportive clinical team in Denver, Colorado, where you’ll provide high-quality nursing care to mothers and newborns while working in a collaborative patient-care environment. ✨ Position Highlights • Specialty: RN – Mom/Baby • Location: Denver, Colorado • Assignment: 13 weeks • Start Date: ASAP • Shift: Night Shift • Shift Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM • Schedule: 3 shifts/week • Hours: 36 hours/week • Shift Length: 12 hours • Employment Type: Full-Time Travel Assignment • Openings: 1 position remaining What You’ll Do As a Mom/Baby RN, you’ll be responsible for providing safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care while supporting both mothers and newborns. Key responsibilities include: • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing evaluation of patient health status. • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans. • Provide direct nursing care, therapy, and treatments within scope of practice. • Provide patient and family health education and counseling. • Monitor and evaluate treatment and therapy plans. • Execute delegated medical functions in accordance with applicable standards. • Recognize when additional evaluation or treatment is needed and facilitate appropriate referrals. • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory requirements. • Utilize available resources to support quality patient care. • Collaborate with and provide appropriate direction, supervision, or education to other members of the care team. • Maintain professional standards and contribute to a positive patient-care environment. Requirements • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. • ASN/Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program. • BLS – American Heart Association required. • Previous RN experience preferred. • Additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, or PALS may be required based on unit/service needs. • Relevant specialty certification is preferred. ⭐ Skills That Matter Candidates should be comfortable with: • Nursing care and patient assessment • Health teaching and patient/family counseling • Therapy and treatment planning • Treatment-plan monitoring • Patient referrals • Medical-function execution • Clinical documentation • Resource utilization • Independent nursing practice Why Consider This Assignment?
