Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a rotating day/night 13-week assignment requiring active MA RN licensure and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

• 27-bed adult inpatient medical unit serving culturally and geographically diverse patients with acute and complex medical conditions
• Patients are typically admitted from the Emergency Department or transferred from intensive care units
• Clinician to patient ratio of 3-4 during days and 4-5 during nights
• Uses EPIC EMR charting system
• 36 hours per week on a rotating day/night schedule with every other holiday and every other weekend required
• Floating required but rare

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required, NO pending or conditional licenses accepted
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Level 1 trauma center experience required
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Primary source license verification required within 30 days of start via NURSYS and Board of Nursing
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Provide general medical-surgical nursing care to an adult inpatient population
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Boston may be considered at a reduced rate
• Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
