Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing – Lewiston, ME 04240

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Lewiston, Maine

Schedule: Night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), 13-week assignment through January 4, 2027. Flexibility required for 24/7 coverage and floating to other units as needed.

Highlights:

  • Work in specialized long-term care and skilled nursing rehabilitation units
  • Provide care for residents with Alzheimer's and dementia in a 31-bed specialized unit utilizing verbal and non-verbal communication techniques
  • Support patients in a 42-bed Transitional Rehabilitation Unit recovering from fractures, joint replacements, stroke, and other short-term conditions requiring skilled nursing and rehab services
  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care including IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment and management
  • Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team in a home-like, therapeutic environment

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Nursing
  • Valid Maine RN license or Compact state RN license
  • 1-3 years of previous RN experience preferred
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Medical terminology knowledge preferred
  • Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius from the facility
  • Clean licensure record required
