Travel RN Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000–$2,100

• Assignment End Date: January 10, 2027
• Contract Duration: Approximately 12 weeks
• Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts
• Shift Times: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Weekend and Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Work Setting: On-site emergency department

Emergency Department RN Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent emergency department registered nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Michigan
• Current BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
• Epic electronic health record experience preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including every other weekend and holiday
• Successful completion of applicable competency, license verification, and onboarding requirements
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Emergency Room Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients with emergent and urgent conditions
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and document care accurately
• Recognize changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions or escalation
• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate timely patient care
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
• Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive emergency department environment
