Contract | Travel | Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12s) | 13-Week Assignment | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide cardiopulmonary diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatient and outpatient populations
- Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
- Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas and maintain patient airways
- Perform ventilator management and intubations
- Conduct arterial blood gas collection and analysis
- Follow protocols approved by medical staff and adhere to department policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential issued by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
- Experience in ICU, general floors, and Emergency Department settings required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Some NICU experience sufficient to provide coverage in the ED setting
- Some Pediatric respiratory therapy experience sufficient to provide coverage in the ED setting
