Key Responsibilities
- Provide cardiopulmonary diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatient and outpatient populations following protocols approved by the medical staff and department policies
- Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
- Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas and maintain patient airways
- Manage mechanical ventilators, perform intubations, and conduct blood gas analysis
- Provide coverage across ICU, general floors, and the Emergency Department
- Provide minimal NICU and Pediatrics coverage as needed to support the ED
Required Qualifications
- Current Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential issued by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy
- Experience in ICU, general floors, and Emergency Department settings required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Some exposure to NICU and Pediatrics environments
- Experience in a fast-paced acute care or travel assignment setting
