    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform respiratory therapy procedures per protocol and physician orders to improve cardiopulmonary conditions of patients across the lifespan, from newborn to geriatric
    • Conduct thorough patient assessments and initiate, modify, transition, discontinue, or restart therapy as the patient's medical condition dictates under established protocols
    • Provide care primarily in critical care units, adult general care, and pediatric general care settings within a high-volume, fast-paced environment
    • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all patient records and department logs
    • Ensure a positive patient experience through consistent communication, procedure explanation, and service recovery when needed
    • Float to other areas of the organization as needed, up to competency level; may be required to work major holidays and pick up additional shifts based on department needs
    Required Qualifications
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required — license must be in hand prior to submission
    • Active Nevada State Respiratory Therapy License required prior to start
    • Nevada Point of Care license (Director of Point of Care, General Supervisor of Point of Care, or Point of Care Analyst) required prior to start — candidates must apply upon acceptance
    • AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required prior to start
    • Minimum 2 years of acute care respiratory therapy experience, with recent critical care experience required
    • Prior travel experience of at least one completed 13-week assignment required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in neonatal and pediatric respiratory care in addition to adult populations
    • Familiarity with protocol-driven respiratory therapy practice in a high-acuity environment
    • Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center or similarly high-volume acute care setting
