    Job Title

    Respiratory Therapist – 12-Hour Nights

    Location

    Puyallup, WA | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift (1800–0630) | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide respiratory therapy services across critical care areas including ICUs, EDs, PCUs, and NICU (as secondary RT during surge)
    • Perform and analyze ABGs, manage BiPAP, CPAP, ventilators, and tracheostomies using equipment including Medtronic 980, Draeger, LTV, and Servo NIV ventilators
    • Administer Bubble CPAP support in the NICU as a secondary RT under the direction of the primary RT
    • Document and chart using EPIC; operate GEM blood gas machine and Pyxis medication system
    • Float across ICU, ER, PCU, and inpatient rehab unit as needed based on scheduling requirements
    • Participate in every-other-weekend rotation and at least one holiday; expected to be available 7 days a week
    Required Qualifications
    • Active state licensure in Washington (or compact eligibility)
    • CRRT or RRT credential required
    • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required (NRP class must be scheduled prior to start date)
    • Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
    • Proficiency in ABG draw and analysis, BiPAP, CPAP, and ventilator/trach management
    • COVID vaccination required per facility policy
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Neonatal (NICU) respiratory therapy experience
    • Experience working in a Level III Trauma Center or similarly complex acute care environment
    • Familiarity with EPIC charting system and GEM blood gas analyzers
