Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services within a pediatric care setting
- Assess, treat, and monitor pediatric patients with respiratory conditions
- Administer respiratory treatments and manage ventilator patients as appropriate for the pediatric population
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and interventions
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Active Florida Respiratory Therapy license – must be in hand
- Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
- Pediatric experience required
- BLS certification required
- PALS and/or NRP certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with neonatal or pediatric intensive care populations
- Familiarity with pediatric ventilator management and advanced airway techniques
