Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend (Friday/Saturday)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform blood gas collection, ventilator initiation and management, and BiPAP initiation and management across neonatal and pediatric critical care units
• Initiate and manage high-flow therapy and administer respiratory medications
• Respond to codes and facilitate in-house patient transport
• Provide chest physiotherapy (Chest PT) as clinically indicated
• Float between pediatric units and NICU based on facility needs; may also float to adult units on the main campus
• Document and chart using EPIC; complete required non-billable modules prior to start and annually

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1.5 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• PICU and NICU experience required
• Active New Jersey (or Compact) license required
• BLS and NBRC required
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP required (may be obtained onsite)
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of submittal and approved prior to offer

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience operating Servo-I, Servo-U, and V60 BiPAP ventilators
• Prior travel assignment experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
