Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend (Friday/Saturday)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform blood gas collection, ventilator initiation and management, BiPAP initiation and management, and high-flow therapy initiation and management
- Respond to codes and assist with in-house patient transport
- Administer medications and perform chest physiotherapy (Chest PT)
- Operate required equipment including Servo-I, Servo-U, and V60 BiPAP ventilators
- Float between Pediatric units and NICU based on facility needs; may also float to adult units on the main campus
- Complete documentation and charting using EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1.5 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- PICU and NICU experience required
- Active New Jersey license required
- BLS required
- NBRC certification required
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP required (may be obtained onsite)
- Locals are accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with neonatal critical care and pediatric patient populations
- Familiarity with Servo-I, Servo-U, and V60 BiPAP equipment
- Prior travel therapy experience (first-time travelers are welcome)
