Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Every other weekend required | Holiday rotation required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services in a pediatric and/or NICU setting within a high-acuity teaching hospital environment
- Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling as required
- May float within scope of practice to meet facility needs depending on experience level
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using Epic electronic health records
- Participate in emergency response team assignments as directed, including during hurricane season (June–November)
Required Qualifications
- RRT certification (NBRC) required
- South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license must be active and in hand at time of start
- BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of experience required; NICU Level IV experience preferred, Pediatric ICU experience will be considered
- Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals may be considered on a case-by-case basis
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NICU Level IV clinical experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Epic electronic health records
