    Job Title

    Respiratory Therapist – Pediatrics / NICU (RRT)

    Location

    Charleston, SC

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide respiratory therapy services in a Level 4 NICU and Pediatric Cardiac unit
    • Manage and monitor respiratory care for pediatric, neonatal, and infant patient populations
    • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures within scope of practice
    • Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling as required
    • Document clinical care accurately using the facility's electronic health record system
    • May float within scope of practice to meet unit needs based on experience
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification through NBRC
    • Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license — must be in hand at time of start
    • Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
    • Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
    • Demonstrated experience with pediatric, neonatal, and infant patient populations
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with Epic electronic health record system
    • Background in Level 4 NICU or Pediatric Cardiac care settings
