    Job Title

    Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift

    Location

    Asheville, NC | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM | Expected Start: October 2026

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide respiratory therapy services across adult, NICU, and pediatric service lines in a high-acuity hospital setting
    • Operate and manage a variety of ventilators and respiratory equipment including GE R860 adult vents, Draeger infant/pediatric vents, Newport HT70 transport vent, V60 non-invasive devices, and Vapotherm/Comfort Flow high-flow oxygen devices
    • Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
    • Float to all critical care units and floors as needed
    • Participate in a rotating weekend schedule, with at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
    • Adhere to department dress code: medium gray/pewter scrubs
    Required Qualifications
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential — required; CRTs will not be considered
    • Active North Carolina Respiratory Therapy License
    • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
    • Minimum of 5 years of respiratory therapy experience
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
    • Experience in NICU and/or pediatric respiratory care settings
    • Familiarity with Cerner EMR
