Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift

Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory therapy services across adult, NICU, and pediatric service lines in a high-acuity hospital setting
- Operate and manage ventilators and respiratory equipment including GE R860 adult vents, Draeger infant/pediatric vents, Newport HT70 transport vent, V60 non-invasive device, and high-flow oxygen devices (Vapotherm, Comfort Flow)
- Document patient care and respiratory interventions using Cerner EMR
- Float to all critical care units and general floor areas as needed
- Maintain patient ratios of approximately 10–25 patients per shift alongside a team of 12–16 night-shift RRTs
- Adhere to weekend scheduling requirements, including a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
Required Qualifications- Active North Carolina Respiratory Therapy License
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Experience working in a high-acuity or Level II trauma center environment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Experience with NICU or pediatric respiratory care
