Client offer will be sent for clinical review. Working nights with the option of 36 or 48 hours. Every other weekend and holiday required. Must work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays. Unit follows a self-scheduling model. The manager will explain the scheduling during the call. There is no guarantee of a desired schedule, but efforts will be made to accommodate. Candidate must demonstrate competence in caring for patients in the NICU, PICU, high-risk deliveries, and acute care pediatrics. The Respiratory Therapist should be comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team requiring strong communication and critical thinking skills. They will be required to work in all units of the facility. The facility provides primary and specialty care in more than 30 specialties. It includes a pediatric emergency department and a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for infants and a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for children younger than 18. The facility offers a complex congenital heart program accepting patients with various congenital cardiac defects. Candidates must be competent in the use of both the Bunnell Jet Ventilator and HFOV 3100A. Travelers must float within their scope of practice as needed.
