Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift travel assignment at a Level II trauma and comprehensive stroke referral hospital with NICU/PICU services.

Details

Work in the Respiratory Services department serving adult, NICU, and pediatric service lines
Patient ratios range from 10 to 25
Uses GE R860 adult ventilators, Draeger Infant/Peds ventilators, Newport HT70 transport ventilators, V60 non-invasive devices, Vapotherm, and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices
Cerner EMR experience preferred
Night shift hours from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
Varying weekend requirement of at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
May float to all critical care units and floors
13-week assignment

Requirements

Active RRT certification required
North Carolina Respiratory License required if applicable
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
NRP certification preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience required
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

Deliver respiratory care across adult and pediatric/neonatal critical care service lines
Located at a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center with a Level III NICU and children's hospital
Scrub color requirement is medium gray/pewter
50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates are not accepted
