    Pay: $1,820.00 / week

    Location: Dubuque, IA

    Shift: Full-Time Travel Contract | Flexible for Days, Evenings, & Nights

    Job Overview

    We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Travel LTC Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position in Dubuque, IA. In this role, you will deliver high-quality nursing care to residents in a skilled long-term care facility, focusing on chronic condition management, preventive care, and rehabilitation.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct comprehensive resident assessments, monitor health status, and track changes in condition.

    • Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and perform wound care/skin integrity treatments as prescribed.

    • Partner with physicians, therapists, and social workers to develop, execute, and adjust individualized care plans.

    • Accurately document treatments, resident responses, and care interventions in the electronic health record (EHR) system.

    • Maintain open communication with interdisciplinary care teams, residents, and family members to ensure maximum comfort and safety.

    Requirements

    • Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.

    • Licensure: Active, unencumbered RN license in Iowa (or a valid Multi-State/Compact RN License).

    • Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

    • Experience: Prior experience in long-term care (LTC), skilled nursing (SNF), or geriatrics required.

    • Shift Flexibility: Must be willing and open to working Day, Evening, and Night shifts as needed by the facility.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Certified Gerontological Nurse (CGN) or similar geriatric credential.

    • BSN degree.

    • Strong proficiency with EHR systems and care coordination software.
