Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg travel assignment in Portland, Oregon. Start date 10/26/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,879-$1,934 per week. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Shift: 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. The role delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or group of patients in the med-surg units, collaborates with the care team, and uses critical thinking and clinical judgment to support patient healing and safety. EPIC experience is required.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to standard nursing practices; supervise and direct activities of nursing staff as appropriate.
- Collect and analyze relevant health data; develop and implement a plan of care, and evaluate progress toward outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and document care in the medical record.
- Coordinate care with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Delegate appropriately, promote a safe and healing environment, and provide education to patients and families as needed.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
- BSN: preferred
- Minimum two years of recent med-surg bedside experience
- BLS certification from an approved vendor; facility requires AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS
- EPIC electronic health record experience required
- Ability to work night shifts; on-site assignment
- Compliance with organizational vaccination requirements
