Registered Nurse - ER, travel assignment in Portland, Oregon. Start date 10/12/2026 for a 13-week assignment. 36 hours per week, nights on a 3x12-hour shift schedule. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, coordinated nursing care to patients in the emergency department according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Triage, assess, monitor, and document patient status; administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians, registrars, and other disciplines to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; use critical thinking, clinical judgment, and supervisory discretion.
- Maintain patient safety, quality standards, and infection control practices; communicate effectively with patients and families.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Oregon
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ER/nacute care experience or demonstrated capability in emergency settings
- Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and documentation skills
- Capability to work in a fast-paced hospital emergency department environment
