Job Title: Radiology Technologist

Job Summary:
In this position, the Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic procedures to obtain desired radiographic results according to physician specifications. Responsibilities include transferring patients for examinations, utilizing ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, and assisting with the x-ray examination process. The role requires adherence to radiation safety measures (ALARA) to ensure patient and staff safety, as well as practicing sterile techniques and following infection prevention policies.

Required Qualifications:
 

• Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to successfully function in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
• Experience in understanding and usage of computers, including the Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to learn applications relevant to the position.

Required Certifications & Licensure:
 

• Registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• CT certified.
• BLS - American Heart Association.

• A personal radiation monitoring badge (dosimeter) is required for this assignment. Providers are encouraged to use an existing badge from a previous employer or assignment when available. If a new badge is issued, prior exposure history will not be reflected.
