General Information

• Number of Beds: 8 Holding Bays and 4 Cath / EP suites
• Number of Staff: 16
• Type of Staff:
  • Day Shift - 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Night Shift - rotating on call
• Patient Ratios: 3 staff to 1 patient in the Cath Lab procedural area
• Type of Equipment: Philips Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab, CardioLab for EP
• EMR: Meditech

Typical Hiring Profile

Required Skills: Candidates without these qualifications will not be considered for the role.

• Minimum 6 months of current Cath Lab Tech experience
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT (R) certification
• RCIS or RCES certification
• If RCIS or RCES certified, must be willing and able to apply for registration as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado prior to starting

Preferred Skills: Candidates with the following qualifications will be prioritized.

• ARRT (CI) or (CV) certification
• Experience in scrubbing and monitoring
• Prior experience with Meditech

Typical Procedures Performed

• Left Heart Catheterizations (LHC)
• Right Heart Catheterizations (RHC)
• EP Ablations
• Pacers and ICD implantations
• Cardioversion procedures
• Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
• Tilt Table Tests
• Electrophysiology and Structural Heart procedures
• Monitoring skills and Right Heart monitoring

Unit Guidelines and Policies

Rotating call schedule includes two weekends and 9-12 days of call in a 6-week period.
