Radiologic Technologist

Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures in a clinical environment. This role plays a crucial part in patient care by ensuring high-quality imaging results necessary for physician diagnosis and treatment.

Shift Details

Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Key Responsibilities

Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including X-rays and other diagnostic modalities.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures while operating imaging equipment.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate images for diagnosis.
Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed.
Document patient history and ensure proper handling of imaging results.
Educate patients regarding the procedures and answer any questions they may have.

Qualifications

Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
ARRT certification required.
Current state licensure in radiologic technology, as applicable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

Experience in emergency department and outpatient diagnostic imaging.
Proficiency in using imaging software and technology.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
