Interventional Radiology Technician

Job Description

An opportunity is available for an experienced Interventional Radiology Technician. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing interventional radiology procedures and assisting the physician in specialized tasks.

Schedule

This position requires availability from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the potential for additional responsibilities through call coverage.

Contract Duration

The contract duration is 13 weeks.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with a minimum of one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the specialty, with specific training in interventional radiology or EVOR (Endovenous Laser Ablation).
• Proficiency in the Cerner electronic health record system.

Preferred Qualifications

• Training or experience in general vascular coronary angiography and special procedures.
• Prior experience in catheterization techniques is highly desirable.

The position is available at multiple locations within the region, specifically in a city in the state.
