Key Responsibilities of the Radiation Therapist- Provide radiation therapy to patients in accordance with prescribed treatment plans
- Operate radiation treatment equipment safely and effectively
- Ensure accurate patient positioning for each session
- Monitor patient response and report any unusual reactions to the medical team
- Maintain detailed treatment records and documentation
Requirements of the Radiation Therapist- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the radiation therapy specialty
