Description

American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of home health experience and 2 years overall clinical experience for a role serving the Modesto area.

Details

• Home health setting covering geriatric patients, wound care, and general home health cases
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekend shifts required
• Minimum of 23-24 visits per week required to qualify for a 40-hour guarantee
• On-call is discretionary and not required
• Primary coverage in the Modesto area, with possible travel to surrounding counties as discussed during interview
• Uses Kinnser/Wellsky charting system; all charting must be completed on-site and cannot be taken home
• Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate from first patient to last patient (not to or from home)
• Contract length is 4-6 months, with less experienced clinicians required to commit to 6 months

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of home health experience and 2 years of overall clinical experience required
• BLS certification required
• Current state license required at time of consideration; no license hits accepted
• License required if applicable
• Must have reliable transportation and insurance
• Valid driver's license required
• No pending licenses accepted; must have valid license in hand at time of consideration
• OASIS experience preferred for OT, RN, and PT candidates; not required for LVN/LPN
