Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring telemetry experience and NIH Stroke Certification on a 12-hour night shift schedule.

Details

• Mixed-acuity, 39-bed unit specializing in medical, surgical, and stepdown care
• Patient population primarily elderly, with some patients as young as 18
• RN patient ratios of 4:1 or 5:1 depending on acuity
• 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active RN license (NH or Compact) with proof of state residency required
• BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Certification required prior to consideration
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent equivalent experience required
• Telemetry nursing experience required
• Cardizem and Amiodarone drip experience required
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required

Additional Information

• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for consideration
