Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring 2+ years of PCU experience and a FL or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a 48-bed Progressive Care Observation Unit
• Patient ratios of 4-5:1
• Uses Epic EMR
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float first, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing
• Proof of accredited nursing degree required on profile

Additional Information

• Galaxy Blue or White scrubs required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility to qualify for travel positions, with strict enforcement of this rule
• Must secure full-time local housing and not commute from a permanent residence outside the area
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to start and will not be approved after offer
• Orientation includes remote training with an in-person badge/ID appointment required on a Friday
• Travelers are expected to integrate fully with core staff and function as part of the team
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start with no exceptions for pending documentation
