Description

American Traveler is seeking a Progressive Care Unit RN with telemetry experience and a minimum of 2 years of experience for a 13-week day shift assignment.

Details

• Progressive Cardiac Care unit with 28 beds
• Patient population includes medical, cardiac, pre/post CV surgery, arrhythmia, heart failure, and stroke overflow cases
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5
• Day shift schedule, 06:45-19:15
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Two separate professional references required

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry-based nursing care to a progressive cardiac care patient population
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on facility location
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Discuss extension opportunities with unit management approximately 45 days before assignment end date
• COVID vaccination is not required
