Job Details

  • Certifications and Qualifications: BLS Certification and ACLS Certification required prior to first shift. Experience requirement: 0 years.
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, forming the basis for individualized care plans.
  • Collaborates with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to identify educational needs and goals.
  • Provides timely and accurate documentation of assessment data, interventions, and patient responses in the medical records.
  • Participates in the patient rehabilitation program on the assigned unit and is responsible for direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
  • Initiates discharge planning and patient teaching starting from the day of admission.
  • Communicates changes in patient status effectively to support continuity of care.
  • Delegates appropriately and supervises ancillary nursing personnel using problem solving techniques in decision making, organizing, and prioritizing.
  • Ensures personal and environmental safety in accordance with hospital and nursing policies.
  • Contributes to a positive, collaborative, and efficient work environment through team building activities and effective communication with management.
  • Assumes charge responsibility following orientation as requested.
  • Pursues ongoing professional development through continuing education and self-study.
  • Performs additional duties as requested to support patient care and unit operations.
