**Exciting Opportunity for an RN in Progressive Care!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Backfill RN - K7 PCU - **Shift:** 6:45PM - 7:15AM - **Unit Information:** - **Type:** Progressive Care Unit - **Number of Beds:** 44 - **Number of Staff:** 95 - **Staffing Details:** - **Day Shift:** - 2 CNC/Charge - 11 RNs - 4 CNAs - 1 HUC - **Night Shift:** - 2 CNC/Charge - 11 RNs - 4 CNAs - 1 HUC - **Patient Ratios:** - 4:1 at grid - 5:1 stretched - **Equipment:** - IV pumps - Skylift - PCA pump - Chest tube - Trachs - Patient lifts - **EMR:** Cerner - **Ideal Candidate:** - **Required Skills:** - ACLS - BLS - NIHSS - Neuro and Trauma Care experience - **Preferred Skills:** - Additional Neuro and Trauma Care experience - **Typical Procedures on Unit:** - Neuro and spinal checks - C-Collar placement, TLSO braces - Chest tube, PCA pump, IV infusions - Lumber drain - Feeding tube placement - Blood transfusion - **Personality Fit:** - Team player - Patient focused - **Dress Code:** Navy blue scrubs - **Floating Areas:** - Stepdown units - Med-surg units - **Availability:** - Every other weekend **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
