Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a regional healthcare facility. The role involves providing specialized cardiac care to geriatric and adult patient populations. The position requires flexibility to work various shift times, including days, nights, and mids, and offers a dynamic environment focused on clinical excellence and patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, start date 09/20/2026, end date 12/26/2026
• Required Qualifications: RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, minimum 2+ years of experience, experience in cardiac care, ability to work various shift times including days, nights, and mids
• Preferred Qualifications: Cardiac experience related to CP, MI, Open Heart, Watchman, TAVR, post-op cardiac cath, and post-op pacer care
• Float: Not normally floated but may be required to float to 1:1s depending on staffing needs
• Additional Information: Candidate must have complete and clear screenings prior to start. Local candidates must be within 60 miles of the facility. The position involves working in a telemetry/PCU level 1 trauma unit with a patient ratio of 1:5 for RNs. Certification in BLS is required. Uniform code is scrubs of any color, no hoodies; nose piercings only. All required PA clearances must be submitted and uploaded prior to start, including Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI fingerprinting, and PA State Police clearance.
