IMCU Registered Nurse

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing medically complex patients requiring close monitoring and specialized treatments.

Assignment Details

• Unit: IMCU
• Unit Size: 16–10 beds
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Contract: 48 hours
• Start Date: ASAP
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience

Patient Population

Common patient conditions include:

• Sepsis
• Heart failure
• Hypertensive emergencies
• Respiratory failure
• COPD
• Chronic kidney disease
• Type 2 Diabetes (T2DM)
• Substance abuse
• Encephalopathy

Clinical Skills

• Experience managing Heparin drips
• Ability to care for high-acuity patients requiring close monitoring
• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to respond effectively to changes in patient condition

Required Certifications

• BLS
