Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Postpartum/Mother Baby position requiring verified Cerner experience and current AHA certifications.

Details

• Postpartum/Mother Baby unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes vaginal delivery, C-section, and GYN surgery patients
• 3x12hr day shifts
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active DC RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• AHA-issued BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Verified Cerner EMR experience required
• Minimum 2 years of postpartum/mother baby experience required
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required
• BSN highly desired
• Minimum 2 years of prior work experience in a US hospital in this specialty required

Additional Information

• Provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies, standards, and Patient Centered Care philosophy
• Demonstrate professional leadership and support to the healthcare team
• Must reside within 50 miles of the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Two manager or supervisor references required, verifying experience within the last 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
