Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Topeka, KS 66606

Start Date: October 28, 2026

Location: Topeka, Kansas

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Option of 36 or 48 hours per week. 6 weekend shifts in 6 weeks or every third weekend required. May float to Postpartum as needed.

Highlights:

Work in a high-risk Labor and Delivery unit caring for patients at 34 weeks gestation and greater
Provide comprehensive care including OB triage, postpartum care, and Level 2 Special Care Nursery support
Participate in cesarean sections, external cephalic versions, and management of high-risk conditions including pre-eclampsia and diabetes
First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience and certifications
84-day assignment with 36 hours of orientation provided
Care for diverse patient populations including neonates, infants, adolescents, and adults

Requirements:

Valid Kansas or Compact RN license required at time of submission
BLS, AWHONN (Intermediate or Advanced), and NRP certifications required in hand at time of submission
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience preferred
Experience with Epic charting system preferred
Previous charge experience preferred
Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
