Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor & Delivery / Mother-Baby – Topeka, KS 66606

Start Date: October 28, 2026

Location: Topeka, Kansas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Option of 36 or 48 hours per week. 6 weekend shifts in 6 weeks or every third weekend required. Float to Postpartum as needed.

Highlights:

13-week travel assignment in a high-volume Labor & Delivery unit caring for gestations 34 weeks and greater
Comprehensive OB services including OB Triage, Postpartum, and Level 2 Special Care Nursery support
Care for high-risk conditions including pre-eclampsia, diabetes, and other complex obstetrical cases
Participate in C-Sections, External Cephalic Versions, and vaginal deliveries
First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience and certifications
Epic charting system experience preferred

Requirements:

Valid Kansas or Compact RN license required at time of submission
2 years of Labor & Delivery or Mother-Baby experience preferred
BLS, AWHONN (Advanced or Intermediate), and NRP certifications required in hand at submission
Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required
Experience with couplet care, neonatal resuscitation, breastfeeding support, and high-risk deliveries
Must reside outside 50-mile radius from the location
