Job Summary:

Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in an urban healthcare facility. The role involves providing specialized care in a pediatric ICU setting, with float responsibilities across multiple campuses. The position requires at least two years of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) or Pediatric Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CICU) experience, working nights every other week, including holiday rotations, with a patient ratio of 2-3:1. The nurse must hold an active Georgia (GA) or compact license and possess BLS and ACLS certifications. Electronic charting via EPIC is required.

Job Details:

Schedule: Nights, every other week, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting from 10/12/2026 and ending on 01/09/2027.
Required Qualifications: Valid active Georgia (GA) or compact license; at least two years of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) or Pediatric Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CICU) experience; BLS and ACLS certifications; proficiency in electronic charting using EPIC.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience floating across multiple pediatric ICU settings.
Additional Information: Must float to two campuses AMBH and SR. Responsibilities include ICU care for pediatric patients in PICU, NICU, TDICU, CICU, as well as general and specialty care areas. The candidate must work either Thanksgiving or Christmas holiday rotation as needed. CHOA (Children's Hospital of Atlanta) is a NICOTINE FREE FACILITY; drug screen testing is required. The flu vaccination is mandatory with no exemptions permitted. Candidates are expected to make up missed shifts and adhere to facility policies.
