Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapist Specialty: - Duration: Direct Hire Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday Experience: 0 - 6 months related experience License: Valid State Licensure or Temporary Letter of Authorization to practice Physical Therapy Certifications: - Must-Have: Graduation from an accredited school of Physical Therapy Description: Provides clinical patient care by initiating and administering appropriate treatment. Progresses patient treatment as appropriate and carries a patient load that reflects productivity standards. Accurately evaluates patients and plans appropriate treatment. Sets and meets functional goals, revising and progressing treatment programs as goals are met. Provides instruction to patients and/or family members, as well as other healthcare providers. Documents patient care by maintaining appropriate treatment records. Completes accurate patient charges and records in a timely manner. Maintains technical expertise through attendance and participation in continuing education activities and departmental in-services. Keeps abreast of technical advances in the field. Attends a majority of scheduled in-services and departmental meetings. Coordinates activities of others but does not supervise. Leads others in the same work performed without being responsible for supervision.
