Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities
Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing
Actively pursue professional development through continuing education, self-study, and involvement in professional organizations
Required Qualifications
Active Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of Colorado
Ability to complete 60-minute evaluations and 30-minute follow-up appointments in an outpatient setting
Proficiency in clinical documentation, goal writing, and compliance with state and federal guidelines
Commitment to patient and employee safety standards and safe patient handling practices
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
Experience supervising or mentoring PT students
Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality initiatives
