    Job Title

    Physical Therapist (PT) – Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF), Travel Contract

    Location

    Billings, Montana

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 40 Hours per Week | Start Time: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM | One Weekend per Month Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct inpatient physical therapy services to patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological conditions, orthopedic injuries, amputations, and trauma
    • Deliver customized, intensive rehabilitation programs tailored to the individual needs of each patient throughout their recovery journey
    • Utilize advanced rehabilitation equipment including robotic and technology-assisted therapy systems as well as traditional gym equipment
    • Maintain a patient caseload consistent with a 6:1 patient-to-therapist ratio within a 34-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation setting
    • Collaborate as part of a team-oriented, multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to maximize patient health, function, and quality of life
    • Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Montana Physical Therapist licensure (required prior to start)
    • Minimum of 1–2 years of physical therapy experience
    • Experience treating patients aged 14 years and older across neuro, orthopedic, spinal cord, and trauma diagnoses
    • Ability to work one weekend per month as required
    • Strong team-oriented approach and interpersonal communication skills
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior inpatient rehabilitation (IRF) experience strongly preferred
    • Familiarity with advanced rehabilitation technologies such as exoskeleton systems, virtual reality therapy platforms, or robotic-assisted therapy equipment
    • Experience treating common diagnoses including stroke, pelvic and lower extremity fractures, amputees, brain injury, and post-laminectomy patients
