Description:
The Physical Therapist delivers quality therapy services to patients.
This includes performing evaluations and developing individual treatment plans and goals to maximize functional outcomes.
The Physical Therapist is responsible for maintaining standards of professional and ethical practice following the guidelines of the state licensing board.
Active participation in discharge planning is essential.
The Physical Therapist implements the treatment program and reassesses treatment results.
Services are delivered within the framework of an interdisciplinary team approach, including significant others and the patient.
These services are provided in compliance with the organization's mission, ethical standards, policies, and procedures.
Candidates will treat a variety of general physical therapy cases, including orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, and general debility.
There is no weekend or on-call requirement.
The position involves floating between inpatient and outpatient care within the facility.
Collaboration with supportive nursing and therapy staff is expected.
Cancellation of up to four shifts may occur during the assignment.
The charting system used is MEDITECH.
