Job Summary
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) Location: Not Specified. This role involves delivering high-quality therapy services within an inpatient acute care setting. The therapist will perform evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Position Description: The physical therapist provides evaluation, develops treatment plans, and implements therapy services following professional and ethical standards. Services are delivered in accordance with the guidelines of the State of Texas Board of Examiners for Physical Therapy and in alignment with the organizations mission and policies.
- Required Qualifications: Texas and national license; BLS certification; 2 years of experience; experience in inpatient care and outpatient settings; minimum 2 years of experience; ability to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidates may be asked to precept as needed. The role involves addressing general PT cases, including fractures, orthopedic injuries, neuro cases, amputations, neck pain, and wound care. Experience in wound care is preferred but not required. The physical therapist participates in discharge planning, reassessment, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, approximately 40 hours per week.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must submit a copy of their license and must not have been directly employed by any facility associated with the organization within the past year.
