Job Opportunity – Physical Therapist – Kodiak, AK 99615

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Kodiak, Alaska

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 17:00). Guaranteed 70 hours per 2-week period. No on-call or weekend requirements. 13-week assignment through February 1, 2027.

• Critical Access Hospital serving diverse patient populations across all ages and diagnoses
• Varied practice setting including outpatient, acute care, skilled nursing facility, wound care, lymphedema, pelvic floor, and pediatric specialties
• Housing provided by facility during assignment (1-bedroom apartment, move-in available 72 hours before start date)
• Free parking and Epic charting system
• Opportunity to work in a Level IV Trauma Center with 46 acute care beds and 22 long-term care beds
• First-time travelers accepted with at least 1 year of experience

Requirements:

• Current Alaska Physical Therapy license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Epic charting system experience required
• Willingness to float within scope across outpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing facility settings
• Candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Preferred experience in pediatrics and adolescent populations (not required)
