Job Opportunity – Physical Therapist – Kodiak, AK 99615

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Kodiak, Alaska

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 17:00), 70 guaranteed hours per two-week period

Highlights:

• Critical Access Hospital with diverse patient population across all ages and diagnoses
• Varied clinical experience including outpatient, inpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing facility settings
• Exposure to specialized services including wound care, lymphedema, pelvic floor, and pediatric therapy
• Housing provided by the facility during assignment at no cost to the traveler
• Free parking and Epic charting system
• Level IV Trauma Center with 46 acute care beds and 22 long-term care beds

Requirements:

• Valid Alaska Physical Therapy license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Epic charting system experience required
• Willingness to float within scope across outpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing facility settings
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Preferred experience with pediatrics and adolescents (not required)
