The position is suitable for a new graduate with six months of experience in acute care or skilled nursing, focusing on a variety of patient diagnoses including total joint replacements, stroke, pneumonia, and balance difficulties.

Job Details

• Certifications and Qualifications: Valid CA Physical Therapist (PT) license; American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; minimum of 2 years of experience required.
• Schedule: 8-hour days, with two weekend shifts per month, starting at 8:00 AM; total of 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Treat patients with diagnoses such as CVA, TKA, THA, COPD, and other geriatric and medical conditions; perform transfers independently; work closely with the interdisciplinary team; follow unit-specific orientation; utilize Cerner charting system.
• Additional Information: Candidates must submit a copy of their driver's license for validation; candidates may not have been directly employed by any facility associated with the organization within the past year; candidates should be comfortable working independently and communicating effectively.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
