Job Summary
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) Location: Not Specified. Job Details
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School; 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience; CPR Certification; 6 months of experience highly desired.
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Complete assessments of assigned patients and develop individualized treatment plans aimed at progressing patients toward discharge.
- Document medical records clearly, accurately, and promptly, including goal setting, functional assessments, and billing entries, in compliance with state, federal, and organizational policies.
- Ensure all care is provided under valid physician orders and insurance approvals.
- Participate in student training and provide supervision, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Pursue ongoing professional development through continuing education and involvement in professional organizations.
- Maintain licensure and adhere to all regulatory and professional standards.
- Apply the organizations performance improvement methodologies to enhance service quality and safety.
- Demonstrate skills and competencies necessary for safe patient handling, infectious disease control, slips/trips and falls prevention, and other safety practices.
