Job Summary
Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT OP) Location: Undisclosed. This outpatient role involves evaluating and developing treatment plans for a diverse patient population, with an emphasis on comprehensive, patient-centered care. The position includes initial evaluations, safety assessments, and implementing functional treatment programs to facilitate effective community reintegration.
Job Details
- Position Description: Evaluates assigned patients and creates tailored treatment plans aligned with patient needs and physician guidance. Responsible for delegating and overseeing discipline-specific therapy services, ensuring the design of effective functional programs. Serves as an educator for patients, families, coworkers, and students, promoting safe and quality care in accordance with organizational values.
- Certifications/Education/Experience Requirements: Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School, current CPR Certification, active applicable state license, and 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Additional Responsibilities: Completes comprehensive evaluations, develops and adjusts treatment plans, documents medical records accurately, and ensures care is delivered under valid physician orders and insurance approvals. Provides clinical supervision of students and actively pursues professional development through continuing education and engagement in professional organizations. Maintains compliance with State Practice Act and other regulatory agencies.
- Additional Information: Demonstrates skills in clinical reasoning and organizational performance improvement initiatives. Acts ethically in line with professional codes of conduct. Meets the organizations safety standards and promotes a culture of safety within the clinic setting.
