Description

American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist with 1+ years of experience to provide in-home rehabilitative care for patients recovering from injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.

Details

• Home health setting providing medically prescribed physical therapy treatments
• Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Weekend coverage required for orthopedic cases approximately every 4th or 5th weekend
• Caseload of 6-7 weighted visits per day
• Mileage reimbursed at IRS rate

Requirements

• VA PT state license required (can be pending at time of consideration); license required if applicable
• CPR certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; home health experience preferred
• MatrixCare or Epic experience preferred but not required
• Must have no prior license or background hits for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient and caregiver education, discharge planning, and completing required documentation
• Directs patient participation in tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical function
• Open to first-time travelers
